Originating from the Nordic countries and rooted in the heritage of the Alps and the Jura, skijoring involves being pulled on the snow by a horse (or a driving pony), wearing skis and connected to the animal by a rigid harness (the rigoleur).

Trust and letting go : Evolving in harmony with the animal requires adjusting your posture, channeling your emotions, and showing attentive listening — a hands-on lesson in compassionate leadership and managing the unknown.
Accessibility and guaranteed thrills: No horseback riding skills are required. You just need to be able to keep your balance on skis (beginner to intermediate level) to instantly feel the rush of gliding, pulled at a walk, trot, or gallop depending on each person's preference.
